At this year's award ceremony, Portcoast was honoured in the Geospatial Digital Twin category for the project titled "A 3D Living Digital Twin Guides Improvements for a Vietnam Port System". This comprehensive digital twin solution was developed for the Cai Mep - Thi Vai Port System in Ho Chi Minh City. The platform integrates Geographic Information System (GIS) data and Building Information Modeling (BIM), establishing an accurate visual management system covering underground technical infrastructure, riverbed geology and surface structures.
A key advantage of the project is its transformation of a static 3D model into a "living" digital twin capable of being updated in real time. The system provides effective support to management authorities and businesses in optimizing operational processes, coordinating vessel traffic, monitoring the environment and simulating scenarios to proactively prevent infrastructure risks. The solution also integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance predictive analytics capabilities, with the goal of achieving autonomous operations in the future.

Portcoast's success at Esri UC 2026 not only affirms the company's outstanding capabilities in geospatial technology and its active implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, under the leadership of the General Secretary as Head of the Steering Committee, but also demonstrates Vietnam's pioneering position in applying digital technologies to modernize large-scale transportation and seaport infrastructure.
