GMDI - TediSouth - Portcoast JV Awarded Metro Line 6 Consulting Package
Ho Chi Minh City's Metro Line 6 has reached another important milestone as the Ho Chi Minh City Management Authority for Urban Railways (MAUR) announced the award of the consultancy package for the preparation of the Feasibility Study and FEED (TV03) for Phase 1, covering the Tan Son Nhat – Phu Huu section. The contract has been awarded to the GMDI - TediSouth - Portcoast JV. This consultancy package represents a key preparatory step toward the Ho Chi Minh City's target of commencing construction by the end of 2026. Phase 1 of Metro Line 6 spans approximately 23 km and serves as a strategic connection between Tan Son Nhat International Airport, the existing metro network, and the Thu Thiem – Long Thanh railway. This achievement marks another milestone in Portcoast's journey of demonstrating its BIM-GIS capabilities in major transportation infrastructure projects, while reaffirming the company's commitment to supporting the development of urban rail and public transportation systems in Vietnam.
