Develop Cai Mep-Thi Vai into a regional and global transshipment port

On May 15th, the People's Committee of Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province organized a workshop to gather opinions on the proposal “Continue developing and modernizing the Cái Mép-Thị Vải International Gateway Port into the largest transshipment port in the country, with regional and global significance.” The workshop was attended by leaders from the General Department of Customs, the Vietnam Maritime Administration, the Export-Import Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade), leaders from the Departments of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Dong Nai provinces, as well as representatives from various associations, scientists, and businesses.
