In recent years, the School has advocated promoting scientific and technological activities with a team of 1,200 staff and lecturers; over 24,000 students, graduate students and graduate students and has achieved encouraging results.

Principal Trinh Minh Thu also shared: In the 2022-2023 school year, the school has completed and accepted nearly 50 research projects at all levels with a total budget of nearly 50 billion VND and nearly 400 billion VND from transfer projects. technology.

Currently, the School is implementing 8 state-level scientific research projects, 24 ministerial-level scientific research projects and 2 provincial-level research projects with a total budget of nearly 100 billion VND; Expected to be over 400 billion VND from revenue from technology transfer projects to serve production.

Lecturers, students, and graduate students of Water Resources University have published nearly 800 scientific publications, including over 200 articles published in prestigious international scientific journals; In particular, there are nearly 100 articles in group Q1.

According to Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Canh Thai - Vice Rector, Deputy Head of the Conference Steering Committee: This year, the annual scientific conference received 209 articles, through a closed, serious and professional review process; There were 180 quality articles in accordance with the Conference criteria approved to report in the fields of: Construction, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology - Hydraulics; Chemistry – Environment; Information technology; Power electronics; Mechanical; Social science; Economics and Management; English language.
