Portcoast is honored to implement the panoramic 3D digital space model of Thuy Loi University, enabling students, parents, and partners to explore and access information about the university in an interactive and immersive way. By applying advanced scanning technologies, Portcoast has: - Used Laser Scanning and LiDAR to capture and build a detailed 3D model of the entire campus; - Integrated virtual reality technology to allow remote visits and user interaction; - Created Digital Twins of selected buildings; - Contributed to promoting digital transformation in education, communication, and facility management. This is a significant milestone in the collaboration between Portcoast and Thuy Loi University, supporting the development of a modern, transparent, and connected digital education environment.

This event marks a new milestone in the university's comprehensive digital transformation process, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of training, research, and practical connectivity. It also affirms Thuy Loi University's pioneering position in applying digital technologies to higher education activities.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet, Vice President of Thuy Loi University, affirmed that in the strong development trend of digital technology and artificial intelligence, digitizing the entire university space and infrastructure is an essential requirement. It enhances the learner experience, increases transparency in management, and effectively connects with society.

The launched Virtual Tour system is a concrete demonstration of Thuy Loi University's commitment to innovation and application of technology in teaching, learning, and management activities.

This system, implemented by Portcoast in collaboration with Thuy Loi University, allows viewers to virtually tour the entire campus in a 3D immersive space, from lecture halls, libraries, laboratories to dormitories, sports areas, and research facilities.

Everything is digitized in detail and vibrantly, contributing to introducing the university to students and parents both domestically and internationally. At the same time, it expands the connection with alumni, business partners, management agencies, and society.

At the event, Portcoast representatives introduced advanced technologies applied during the digital model construction at Thuy Loi University, notably the BA-D laser scanning technology with the ability to scan over 2 million points per second, accurately recreating topography and structures.

Additionally, there is the USB mobile mapping device supporting dynamic surveys, satellite imaging technology, common data infrastructure (CDI), sensor-integrated environments for structural and deformation analysis, augmented reality (AR) applications, machine learning (ML), digital twin modeling, and cloud-based project management platforms. All technologies have been verified and certified for efficiency and accuracy by the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Thanks to the deployment of these advanced technologies, all facilities of Thuy Loi University have been synchronously digitized in two phases, making it one of the first technical universities in Vietnam to possess such a modern, authentic, and in-depth Virtual Tour model.

Thuy Loi University and Portcoast sign a cooperation agreement

Within the event framework, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony took place between Thuy Loi University and Portcoast.

Accordingly, the two parties agreed to cooperate in areas such as: consulting and orienting the implementation of digital technology, developing training models integrated with virtual reality practices, organizing specialized courses on BIM - GIS - AR - ML, training and capacity building for lecturers and technical staff of Thuy Loi University, jointly implementing domestic and international projects, and creating job opportunities and high-quality human resource development for Thuy Loi University students at Portcoast and its partner units,...
