Portcoast General Director Pham Anh Tuan joined the high-level leadership delegation of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province led by Provincial Party Secretary Pham Viet Thanh to study free trade zone development models in China and South Korea.

The Qingdao Free Trade Zone, Shandong Province, China - 26/10/2023

From 18 October to 26 October 2023, Portcoast General Director Pham Anh Tuan joined the high-level leadership delegation of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province led by Provincial Party Secretary Pham Viet Thanh to study free trade zone development models in China and South Korea. In China, the delegation visited and worked with the Lingang Free Trade Zone in Shanghai and the Qingdao Free Trade Zone in Shandong Province. In South Korea, the delegation visited and worked with the Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone. These above free trade zones share one common feature of being strategically linked to gateway ports. The field trip to study the models of free trade zone development is of benefit for studying the development of free trade zone in Vietnam.
